Beyond his drive to mend others and treat their ailments, Utatul also has a keen interest in chemistry. Formulas, compounding, heating, cooling, mixing, refining dosages; all steps to create methods of treatment that could potentially pull people back from the brink for just long enough to find a permanent solution.

This, of course, hinged on the Chemistry Lab not being exploded into a burning crater by every new chemist attempting to recreate Breaking Bad without understanding the combustion point of their chemicals.
