Who says there has to be innate talent? Lucian isn't just a bookworm, he's studied the ways of the psychic among other fields, and has finally gained mastery!
At first, he didn't want to believe the act of being barefoot helped--after all, his classy shoes weren't that thick, how could they block his communion with the natural energies of the world? But after various tests and diligence... it seems that was the answer all along.
With his soles in contact with the ground, meditation and inner focus came in minutes rather than droning dreary stretches, and he was soon bending spoons and levitating small objects. Now he can comfortably grab books from afar and catch things mid-fall. It's the simple things to make life just a bit easier.
And all it took was a little style change.
Huge, HUGE shoutout to GalacticXChick on Twitter for doing this donation sketch when Inkblot's team wouldn't!
I decided to color it in a style similar to his main artwork as my appreciation.
