Pro tip: West Area Province One in Scarlet/Violet is EXCELLENT for shiny Rockruff hunts! Even without an outbreak (which you may not want if you want a shiny midday/midnight lycanroc, Own Tempo outbreaks are 50/50 compared to non-Own Tempo ones)

Look up a sandwich calculator and put in sparkling 3 / encounter 3, both rock type.

Go to West Province Area one , save before you make the sandwich (turn autosave off during all this)
Make it then run around until u see blue puppy. when you do, encounter and catch him, then save and keep looking until ur sandwich is out.
if ur sandwich runs out reboot game, don't do this if you already saved for a shiny...
sometimes you wanna start a picnic (on a flat surface so it actually works) to clear out spawns so more stuff can spawn in its place... i sprinkle that in a little along with ujst running around like an idiot >w<

I can probably hunt a few shiny ruffs for you and send them over if you want :3:3
