thin wooden aqueduct on a leafy slope. sturdy and broad enough to walk on. the stream that runs through it is a little chilly, and here and there it bends around masses of mud and pine needles. up ahead it curves and disappears behind the hill. there's a good chance whatever you drop in the stream will be washed away into someone's garden
