Fennrer is another version of Fenrir. There had been some different versions of his name (Fenrir, Fennrer, Fenr, Fenris etc) in norse mythology.
Fennrer Valkodlak is the "stray name". Usually in my fan fiction, Shistavanen carry a name and a pack name. Fennrer originally had the name Fenrir har Dy´Warg. Meaning, he is Fenrir from the pack of the Dy´Warg. Whenever a Shistavanen leaves his pack or is chased away, they take on a stray name. So they show, that they have severed their ties to their packs.
