The mistress of desires, dame of intrigue, shadow of the crecent. They Duchess goes by many names and titles, equally coupled with warnings. She is all of those things, but at the same time none in particular. A being of the void, she is a shapeshifting elemental bound to the mortal plane through her magical prowess in stabilizing the gem on her chest. As previously established, her favoured form is that she took after consuming teh essence of a dragon... albeit she has found it difficult to truly interact with most mortals in such a gargantuan form. This more "humanized" variant has become more appealing for her uses, and makes attracting her prey all the much easier.
At her core, Nysanthea is still a scholar, she is fundamentally intruged by the realm of mortals and its secrets. Her void nature inspires her to consume, and instead of destroying she seeks to acquire more knowledge and secrets. She collects powerful pawns, artifacts, and most of all experiences. Delightfully mischevious, she stops at nothing to get something she wants once she desires a taste for it. Though, she is not outright hostile, and will typically mind to herself within her great, looming tower in the Morrow swamps in the northern Crescent of Nuverta. To attract her ire or attention is doom, however. She delights tormenting with her foes and keeping her thralls closer, make them desire nothing else than to submit to her will... with benefits.
As with her feral form, her scales/claws are adorned with a aphrodisiac toxin that renders those near her suggestible, coupled with powerful magical pheromones that wash over the minds of her attackers or thralls. She can manipulate voidflame, a powerful corruptive magic of her invention which can tear apart the will of her foes, and most of all her beauty... her presence... that make anyone quake in her presence.
