And now we've caught up to an art piece from just a few weeks ago. This is Declan, my very first fursona.

I've been mulling over getting something like this done for quite a while. Utatul worked well as a psuedo sona for so many years, but after my main SS13 server closed down, I felt that connection waver. Thinking of a sona design (while being terribly uncreative) wasn't so simple, but Declan does borrow a lot from me as a person (and I love ferrets so much), and I think I like him being a full on created character rather than just a character from pre-existing media, like Utatul.

Not a whole lot to say about the boring ferret himself. He works too much, frowns more than he smiles, and he has more than a fair share of character flaws. But below the sour exterior, he wants to do what's right, both for himself and for the people he loves and cares about. And while we may have the same nerd glasses, I am jealous that he has better fashion sense and more luxurious hair than I do.

After the great work they did on the Vkara piece, I knew I could trust Volcanins to bring this sad soggy creature to life. They did a great job piecing together all my fragmented references and my constant nagging into a final product that I'm very happy with. Thanks for your hard work on it!
