This show was cancelled because I made the silly mistake of saying casually on facebook that I would have fucked David Bowie when I was 16. I didn't think this was controversial, but screenshots were taken, and it was claimed that me dating older men is the same as if I raped children. This is just how you get treated for being indigenous and transgender in Mississippi.

My best friend Dan Brewer used this as an excuse to quit speaking to me, and stole nearly all my music and video making equipment, stuff I worked for ten years to collect (and you know I was broke.) I was paying his bills the previous summer when he quit his job, so he owed me quite a bit in money and drugs at this point as well. Stupid cocksucker. I still haven't recovered from what I lost.

As for the show, a few months later I played New Orleans instead, and it feels much better getting paid to play music anyway.
