i made this to use as a pfp but i couldn't find a way to export it as an animated image smaller than a MB ; ;

Extreeeemely cute pebble :3
i actually toyed around with trying to compress the gif and figured out resizing it to about 25% using a web tool seemed to work to get it under a megabyte!
If you'd like i could send you the gif via discord or some other way or you could try it yourself :>

thank u !!
so the gif i uploaded to fa is already downscaled with the framerate turned down to 10 from the original 60 to even get it within fa's file size limit .. i uploaded the original mp4 to other sites but fa doesn't support that :/ i wanted to keep the pfp version at at least 25 fps (since .gif doesn't support 30) which was the main culprit for the file size staying high..
thank u for trying though !! i appreciate it ;w;
also i later learned that i misremembered fa's limit for profile pictures, it's actually only 100kb 😭

the Krita manual for contributing images to the manual has some neat tool suggestions, at least for png crushing. https://docs.krita.org/en/contribut.....ality-and-size
i used pngcrush to optimize lossless PNGs without losing color palette, but i don't know much about other formats which sounds more convoluted (i never quite learned to use ffmpeg)

thank u for the recommendation! krita has a bunch of really neat tools
also yea gif and animated webp are just, horribly unoptimized formats in general.. i uploaded this animation as a mp4 to other sites, at 1000x1000px @ 60 fps, which was 995kb!! the fa version, downscaled to 800x800 @ 10fps, is a whopping 8.4MB
