Since Matrix has icons for every room in a space, I've started making some images for a space a few of my friends are in. It's named after an opossum, so I'm theming it around that, with this one for a scores room for a game some of us play! The arrow is related to the game (Etterna, a FOSS rhythm game, and Goober is the name of one of the opossums.

It is, and I suppose the closest analogy I can provide is it's like Discord. There's a lot of overlapping functionality, but it's obviously it's own thing (and it's a bunch of different servers talking to eachother, not just a central hub). You may have heard of "Discord alternatives" in recent times, and Matrix tends to be thrown about as one of them, though Matrix actually has been around for quite a long time! There are a number of servers you can sign up at (or self-host your own) and also different apps you can use to chat with if you want as well.
