Fox King Reacts to Forgotten Island Official Trailer
Hello everyone, today I'll be reacting to a DreamWorks movie trailer called Forgotten Island. Since we haven't seen anything new from DreamWorks, this seems like a tribute to the 80s with all the color and has a girly, chick flick vibe. Let's hope this movie avoids the issues that Ruby Gillman got. It could be a hit or a miss, but I don't predict box office results. So, let's not waste time and start the trailer reaction now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1EVeS7l7kU
0:00-0:20 I mentioned it feels like an 80s tribute, not that it takes place in the 80s. We're introduced to the main characters in 1990, meeting at school and quickly becoming friends. One of them uses a knife to cut her headband and turn it into friendship bracelets.
0:20-0:41 Now what you're hearing in the background is the "Don't You (Forget About Me)" from the movie the Breakfast Club as we watch those two growing up as special friends, while at the same time their friendship bracelets gets various stuff on it of what they were doing in their life as well as getting them into trouble all the way to graduation. Also, this movie is made by the director of the second Puss in Boots movie from four years ago.
0:41-1:17 Okay, now we see that two friends here are talking about how much good times they have and how one of them should go to America for schooling, then in the next shot that took place at night, a huge portal opens, and as it starts sucking them into it.
1:17-1:41 Now, here they ended on an island that's called the Forgotten Island. As they go on an adventure to make sure they don't lose their friendship, they encounter creatures and monsters they've never seen before. It sort of makes me think of the movie based on the series "The Land of the Lost" or maybe "Journey to the Center of the Earth", but whichever one it would remind me of, I'm sure we'll see what their adventure is like.
1:41-2:24 Now this one is where they go through their past, where they try to stop memories from getting erased, then they do this whole "Who Let The Dogs Out" thing, which I do remember that song when it was released for the soundtrack of the Rugrats in Paris movie, but it's been a long time since I remembered it.
Now that was my reaction to the trailer for Forgotten Island, and whoa, that's some sort of movie there, let's hope it doesn't suck big time otherwise DreamWorks might be losing their audience with movies like these. But I'm glad that the Breakfast Club song is still a thing, but unless we get another trailer to this movie, I'll be expecting some new thing for our two friends' big adventure to prevent them from forgetting that they're still friends. But for now, I think I need to react to a trailer for another upcoming movie, but what could it be, though? Hmmm...
(As I think it through, I then hear someone calling.)
Ryder: Hey, Fox Prince, you've got to check out the new trailer for our new movie coming out!
(I looked to the left at hearing Ryder's voice, then I started to smile.)
Oh yes, that's right! So for the next trailer reaction, I'm going to react to the teaser trailer for the third PAW Patrol movie. But in the meantime, see you all later. *To Ryder* Okay Ryder and pups I'm coming!
