this day due to conversation with my boss, i had been thinking about what common jobs were like back in the 1800s
and how those kinds of menial labor has kind of evolved over time and kind of become office desk work

of course the older jobs still exist, but what has become a lot more common as the "pillar" of modern economic development has moved on from working with raw materials in the mine, to working in the abstract of data and finances. Ironically, using the very same materials that were mined years ago, and are still mined to this very day, which comprise many of the components in modern day devices such as phones and computers
