this day i went to watch "Bugonia", a Yorgos Lanthimos film
despite how beautifully shot and well made this movie is, the subject matter just did not stick for me at all
found the mystery plot just completely boring, one of the main characters very annoying (despite their tragic backstory) and just overall not a movie for me. I'm sure there's some themes here for sure with the messaging and imagery used in the film, but i just couldn't grasp them at all beyond my frustration with the film

i guess i would recommend this movie, if you like mystery thrillers! or if you just lover yorgos movies
