Koi Dragon

Here's a watercolor painting I did of a koi fish inspired dragon. I've always thought koi were cool, I remember getting to visit koi ponds as a kid and seeing a whole bunch of them come up to say hi. For my koi dragon, I brought in some orange, white and brownish black for its coloration, and I wanted it to have interesting looking fin shapes on its arms, sides and back. The layers were fun to build up in watercolor, I think it was a good experiment.
