Do I even need to say why I adore this piece.
I did want to write a story bit for it since it seemed fitting. Hope you all like it. : D
After gazing at the dancing lights above them for some time. Noelle turned to Sombra with a tender smile,
“You know what. Instead of just looking at them from down here. Why don’t we…get a closer look at them.” Sombra still mesmerized by the lights above, finally pulled his gaze away, and looked at Noelle,
“Hmmmm, alright. I can find us a us a higher vantage point,” he said, turning his head around for a spot for them to rest on. Noelle playfully, swung her hail, and thump the back of Sombras head. “Ouch!” Sombra yelped, rubbing the back of his head. “I said I was looking,” he added, with a bit of annoyance now prominent on his face.
Noelle turning her gaze back up began to chuckle, as she gracefully slid her tail under Sombra’s chin, turning his gaze back up.
“No silly. Let’s get a closer look.” Noelle said, as she slowly spread her wings out. “I want to be so close to them, that I can run my claws through them…” Noelle added, her gaze looking at the lights. Taken a little a back by this, Sombra turned his head to speak; however, before he could say a single word. He looked at Noelle’s face, the reflection of the dancing lights in her eyes, the way her fur shimmers under the magnificent spectacle before them. For a moment he couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the dragoness before him.
The look in her gaze said everything, the shimmering wonder and thrill of adventure. Finally breaking the silence, Sombra spoke up,
“I see what you mean. Then shall we.” Sombra now spread out his wings. Noelle excitedly began to flutter her wings as she looked at Sombra gleefully,
“Let’s!” The two dragons took off, and flew up towards the dance before them.
