Creatures that spawn from the void, shaped by sloppy incantations and magic circles, Burgles are the product of catastrophic summoning failures.
Burgles are horrifically gluttonous aberrations, capable of chasing down and devouring a party of four in less the time it takes to cast counterspell. Immune to all forms of physical damage, the more they feed, the faster they move, owning the Gnoll's rampage skill when successfully devouring a creature.
It typically requires a specialized team to banish these abominations back to the void and rescue whoever might have been unfortunate to get devoured in a free action.
The pictured are Burgle familiars that have been selected as (relatively) safe representatives, Bonnie our 'female' and Batleth our 'Male' (It should be noted nearly all burgles have no genitalia or discernable sexual dimorphism, lending their existence to the void and the botched summoning rituals. This does not apply to naturalized burgles.) These are typically what you would see from a fresh spawning of burgles.
Loose notes:
Devour: If the burgle succeeds a bite attack, the burgle can devour the target as a free action. There is no save.
Ravenous: If the burgle succeeds a devour action, it may move up to half its speed times the number of devoured creatures inside it as a free action and make a bite attack against a target.
Immunities: Non-Magical Bludgeoning, Slashing, Piercing, Poison, Disease
Resistances: Magical Bludgeoning, Slashing, Piercing
Weakness: Banishment, Acid
Bone Masks: Each Burgle owns a bone mask. This is present in all burgles, and cannot be removed while the burgle lives. These bone masks typically darken as the burgle naturalizes.
Burgle Digestion: Typically takes up to a week for Fresh Burgles. Naturalized burgles typically only need a day or two.
Naturalization: The process of a Burgle 'aging'. We say Naturalization instead of 'Age' since these creatures are not affected by senescence or disease, but their extended presence in the material plane begets changes to their physicality, immunities, resistances, and weaknesses. The most consistent signs of a naturalized burgle are darkened/colored bone masks, development of sexual anatomy, and smaller overall body size.

Decided I was going to actually get some proper info on these boys. I'll be posting a bunch of old burgle-related art into scraps and giving them proper deets. I'm probably missing some details but oh, well.
Yes. They are intentionally broken. Don't put these in your campaign unless you hate your players lol.
