Burgles are insatiable creatures, spawning from failed summons, these critters are the bane of many practicing summoners. These ferret-bird-demon amalgamations seek to fill their expandable bellies with prey a plenty.

Now, MOST of these encounters are truly harmless. They're particularly easy to dispel with any form of magic, but are utterly immune to non-magical damage. Upon that, it's not impossible to tame or even have one as a loyal pet, but you'd best be willing to tolerate an ever-hungering, ever-drooling guest. You are the object of their affection. And the way they show their affection is difficult to tell apart from their feeding habits.

Their sizes range from teeny little mouse-sized pests (great for actual pest control!) To monstrous ones capable of swallowing a draft horse in 7 seconds flat.
