Rehabilitation is a process that must be handled with the gentleness and comfort one would use when catering to the most fragile of flowers. A step-by-step process that anyone can do at their own pace, rehabilitation allows an individual to improve themselves and abandon their previous habits, mentality, or vices. Due to everything that happened within her past lives ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54201642/ ), Ava’s mental state has been put into a state of limbo; with her experiencing states of boundless sorrow, sadness, and hatred. However, upon being rescued from the darkness, Ava’s mind and heart have been given hope and time to heal from her past scars. While Oblivia suggested Ava freely do things that she enjoyed; she also advised the former shadow to socialize with the Apostles and be in the company of those who would be sure to treat her with the kindness and dignity that she was mostly denied in the past. Due to her enjoyment of reading, Ava decided she would spend time with Lilliana, who also had a penchant for literature.

While Ava had a simple but pleasant outing with Lilliana at the bookstore the latter worked out, the former forgot that she shouldn’t be utilizing her natural abilities when in public. This unfortunately led to Ava inadvertently scaring Lilliana by phasing through shelves at the most inopportune times; resulting in the husky shouting every so often and needing to think of an excuse in order to explain herself to those who happened to be in ear shot. Throughout the visit, Lilliana has several instances of Ava surprising her; with shouts, scares, and one instance of nearly falling off of a ladder being some of the highlights. Despite this, Lilliana was still patient with Ava, knowing full well her prior situation and that the visit was a way to get her somewhat acclimated back into a normal life. Still, Lilliana could feel as if several years were shaved off of her life from how hard her heart was beating after each startling instance.
