Here's a watercolor painting I did of a green scaled dragon for a drawing challenge. My main focus with this dragon was to come up with something that looked like it'd be at home in a jungle, color wise and build wise, and this was the result. I kept the layers of color a little bit softer this time, though that's something I'll be exploring more as this challenge goes further.
The face for this one is loosely big cat inspired, as are the vague stripe patterns. Its coloration would likely help it with blending in amongst the varying types of foliage in the jungle.
