Story Dialogue :

[During the explosion, the fishes oddly enough managed to fly in the air, dust and ash were dispersed all over the already destroyed atrium and nothing left remained of the supplies and Aku's gas mask flew by D'on's side.]

[After the explosion, a blue-ish, transparent shape emerged, looking much like Aku, who just a moment ago got vaporized in the loud explosion. He seemed angry, the glowing, yellow-tinted eyes betraying the emotions of diasppointment at himself. And even then, there was still that toothy grin visible on his ghostly face, much in line with the overall cheerful disposition of the shark.]

(*D'on is facepalming at the sight of the now ghostly Shark*)

["Well, that's a skill issue", Aku said, clearly not that much bothered by his sudden death.]

D'on in a shocked expression : "Well that's the first time i've seen somebody die and turn into their ghost form that fast...that sound morbid but you may have earned yourself a world record. Usually it takes around 20 to 40 seconds for the ghost to emerge from the body but you did it instantly...now that is impressive and points to a lot of questions!" (*D'on starts to put his finger below his gasmask like he's thinking on it*)

Aku : "So I'm the first shark to get totally blasted and immediately ghostified or whatever? Daaaamn man. Mom's gonna be proud! Or she's gonna scold me and bite my spectral snout off hah!" (*Aku laughed, completely unbothered by his state*). "You're a medium of some kind, lilac boy? Can you call my mom with your ghost whispering powers? Just please don't place your hands on the magical orb with open mouth. That's kinda weird."

D'on : "Wait...didn't you mom died during the great war by the nukes? You were offered to be sent to the metro shelter to make soup for some refugees in advance and you got lucky the bombs went off while in the shelter! So your mom...ooooh...i see now!" (*D'on points the finger at the shark and tells him to follow the scalie lilac in the middle of the atrium*). "So you silly fish, you seem to understand the situation you're in right? I mean you recognise your ghostly form and you called yourself spectral...you also remembered my stories about ghost whispering which you took as a joke earlier as well...thing is...you ready to move on to the afterlife and meet your mom? Tell her it was my mistake to bring you up here, she probably won't scold you!" (*D'on laughed after saying it*)

Aku : "Yeah. She went down in a nuclear blast while I was safe in the shelter. Gave me her space" (*he sighed and frowned*). "Like mother like son, just, you know, my fireworks were much less impressive."

[He stood, or rather floated mid-air, his expression mixed between sudden sadness and usual joy and lighthearted smiling. It's been a long time since he felt so conflicted...]

Aku : "Yeah. Go on with it, I... Damn you know what? I was hiding all that loss behind smile and laughter for too long. Would be nice to finally tell her I love her again"

D'on after petting the ghostly shark on the head : "Well how about i help you leave this awful apocalypse and join her side once and for all and have an eternal afterlife of peace and rest to meet also your other family members and friends? You seemed often lonely on your computer near the gate and let me tell you these guards are awful at their jobs. Now stand right there and hear these prayers, i know...my praying voice sounds goofy but hey it works right?"

[D'on takes off his gas mask after inhaling a pocket of air from it and then starts doing some kind of prayer to Aku and then Aku seems to start glowing and is imbued in a holy glowing light]

D'on : "For a ghostly explosive world record, it had to be you. Someone else, might have gotten it wrong!"

Aku : "You're good, I heard worse voices out there. You're a good friend, lilac boy." (*Aku said and looked at his ghostly form, confused after seeing it change its colors to a bright yellow*). "Well, talk about a glow-up! Sure you can't grab me and make me your lantern or whatever?" (*He asked, feeling sudden calmness and tranqulity as the light embraced him and he began the passage to the Spirit Realm*) "Will you... speak to me again? Please don't be a stranger!" (*He said and waved goodbye for D'on*).

D'on : "A lantern? And trap you in there for eternity? No no, your mom would like to see you soon and you seem to be crossing over as i'm talking to you but of course i'll speak to you again! See you on the other side Aku! Be safe you adorable shark! Also i can ask one of the families in the metro to name one of the kids after you, maybe a girl? I'm kidding but i'll relay your passing to your friends down there for you!" (*D'on chuckled and coughs from the toxic air as he said that*)

D'on after putting his mask back on : "Well...now i need to bring his mask back and tell what happened to his station! What a sweet fella that Shark! I hope to see him again
soon!"
