Ember wakes up one day to find their 200 tailmaws going wild for seemingly no reason, as well as discovering that their roommate, Denzel, had merged with them while they were asleep. As they try to help the imp exit their merged body, a mysterious force makes them lose control of their shapeshifting magic, causing them to grow MORE rather than less. Due to the potential trouble that their chaotic shapeshifting might cause, the two of them decide to make their way to Ember's doctor to try and contain their body...
...little did they know, that this first merge would just be the first of many, MANY more merges to come.
