Right from the start, I chose a seagull as my fursona.
They are surprisingly adaptable creatures with many talents: they can walk, swim, and fly.
Despite all this, however, they are widely despised for their clumsiness and intrusiveness.
It’s not my favorite animal, but it’s one I’ve often identified with: we’re both searching for our place in a world where we don’t seem to be welcome.

Jo is a character inspired by the adventures of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, whom I created almost 10 years ago; yet, I never gave him a design I could consider definitive: as I’ve grown as an artist and as a person, he too has always changed with me over time.
Still... I need to to preserve its physical appearance, at least for a while, so that I can reproduce it in my works.
