this day i went to the cinema to watch Marty Supreme
prrreeetty good movie, maybe a bit too long for my liking. I've liked Safdie brothers movies before, but i gotta say i did NOT feel like the soundtrack fit the movie at all.
classic safdie intensity and stress inducing drama, which for me both made it thrilling but also played against it somewhat. Movie never lets up at any point (LOTS of closeups)
My favorite part of this movie might've been the costume design! i'm a sucker for that 50s aesthetic and dress code <3
