Okay this is all pretty great but the last panel slayed me XD

I could be reading too much into this but I'm more and more getting the vibe that the Toon Cores transformations are somewhat influenced by the desires and inner feelings of whomever they bond with.
Especially since a decent amount of the guys who end up turned into girls by their Toon Cores seem to be absolutely fine with what has happened to them after the shock wears off.

We've seen a few girls who turn into guys from their Toon Core, from the vaudeville gang with the girls who became the rabbit wrestler and baby angel boy, but I don't think there's been a girl becoming a guy that has had a solo focus in this series, unless I'm remembering wrong.

Toon Cores, in addition to transforming the individual, also have some affect on their minds and perception of themselves. While the person transformed could still retain aspects of themselves and everything, and can still have some embarrassment over their new forms, the cores also modify them in a way so that their new selves 'feel right'

You are right though in that the Toon Core transformations can be triggered by certain facets of the victim's desires or traits. Such as King wishing to be able to relax and triggering the Toon Core to turn him into a beach babe who slowly learns to relax a bit more.

But ultimately, Toon Core victims (and Toon'd victims in general) are affected on a much deeper level than physical. Their new selves become weirdly natural to them. This can be kinda confusing in a way when they think about it, but yeah.
