Karn is an amphibious creature - with gills and lungs, he can go where he pleases. Where he lives is a series of islands off the coast of a jungled peninsula - all connected by a maze of sand bars and mangrove forests. He occasionally forays up the river to hunt crabs and fish among the mangrove roots.

Despite being at home in the water, Karn HATES heavy rain. While he hangs on the beaches as normal during light rain, he has a hidden, manicured den where he naps during bigger storms.

Next time I think I'll make his feet more like a crocodile and less paw-like! Maybe even some scales instead of shark-y skin?

I was on the finishing touches of the art-trade piece I was doing, clicked save, and Rebelle crashed while it was saving (': Since I'd just lost hours of work, I furiously turned to the warmup sketches I did and slapped some colors on them. So here's Karn!

I feel like I couldn't really get things to cooperate during this. Probably because I was already frustrated - but time drawing at all is still worth it, right?
