Believe it or not, this was made from three lines in the colors of the Pansexual flag.

It was primarily made by using the smudge brush to move around the colors, blending and wrapping them through each other.

I then used the eraser in lines and exposed the deep purple layer underneath.

Returning to the smudge brush I made lots of spindly tentacle-like marks that spread the deep purple from the layer below to create the final product.

I will definitely be looking into this concept more in the future as I think it has a lot of potential. :3
