Here's the rough sketch of Great Izuchi that I drew on a whim —
it was secretly featured as an advertisement on the building in this illustration:

It turned out surprisingly well, so I decided to go ahead and finish this one too!This is a Great Izuchi practice piece.
Come to think of it, the last time I properly drew Great Izuchi was back during Halloween...

It's been quite a while since then... I really need to draw more Great Izuchi.
Even if I combine the time spent on the initial rough sketch + finishing it today, the total was only about 4 and a half hours.
(who used to be extremely slow at drawing)
that's a small but noticeable improvement — I think I'm making progress!That said...
I'm still not quite getting the hang of coloring yet, especially the shading and lighting.
But I feel like I'm starting to grasp something, so please watch over me with warm (slightly gentle) eyes!Also, I might be posting illustrations more frequently this month.
...Well, my posting frequency is already getting higher, isn't it? lol
Anyway, Great Izuchi is the best, as always!

↑このイラストのビルの広告に写っていた、勢いで描いたオサイズチのラフです。
意外といい感じに描けてしまったので、ついでにこのラフも仕上げよう! …となりました。
おさいずちの練習です。 何気に最後におさいずちを描いたのがハロウィンの時以来ですね…。

あれから意外と期間が空いてしまいました…。 オサイズチをもっと描かなければ…。
ラフだけ描いた時と、今日これを最後まで仕上げた時間を合わせても、
合計4時間半位で終わった(終わらせた)のは少しばかりですが、成長してきた…かな?
(私は元々超遅筆なので、前の自分だとこのくらいの時間では絶対終わらなかった)
ただ……まだ色塗り…及び影と光塗りがイマイチ、コツを掴めていない感じなんですよね…。
でも、何かを掴みかけているので、生暖かい目で見ていてください!
また、今月はイラスト投稿頻度が上がるかもしれません。
……というより、既に投稿頻度は高くなっているかな?w
とりあえずオサイズチは最高ということでお願いします
