Before gonna say anything about the character, I just must say, I love the background, it's such a lovely view. The river, the mountains, the rock on which he's chillin', some trees & plants closer, some trees further away. Background drawn in relatively blurry way, but the effect/feel it gives - effective. Such a peaceful scene, nature's so beautiful -w-.
As for da characterro, I quite like the shading&lighting on him, the curves & muscles (I wish I could give more constructive feedback here, point out where I think it's especially well-done and where it's not quite natural/how it should be, be helpful, but I'm really unsure what to say, and don't want to give bad advice).
Neat scales texture ya included in some places, fun, helps making some things 'pop' more, feel more alive.
Quite like the gaze, lookin' tad piercing & mesmerizing there I'd dare to say, which I love(and I really regret that I seem unable to capture it, pretty much ever, to capture the mix of "piercing, scary, intimidating, dangerous, with beautiful, captivating & mesmerizing" hah, guess if I was a lot better at making high-definition, super detailed drawings[or at least some parts, like eyes] that would help xD).
I see he came out bit more silver here than he usually does, and I like how the outcome look (tiny fun fact, when I played BG3 I played silver dragonkin, and you kinda reminded me of it haha). I see you made use of another drawing from my gallery for the head, it's bit surprising just how similar the two are, but it's all good to me haha, & I find it quite surprising just how well it fits there, on a completely different illustration & different pose, drawn by a different artist.
Also, I freaking almost forgot to mention something that really caught my eye and I really wanted to bring up, I really like the effect you gave to the horns. They came out looking like... silver blades of sorts, this shading and shine, reflectiveness of it, I think it's best effect/texture/feel I ever got to see on them so far. Gives them more... precious and dangerous feel.
Very lovely image, I love the vibes.
EDIT: Dayum, from all this analyzing I forgor to say possibly the most important part... Thank you so much! Thank you!
And I hope you enjoyed drawing it & it gave you great practice, and helped you improve in at least some area, and you had fun, and it wasn't a problem/a drag to draw xD... and I officially used word "and" tad too much in short succession lol.

Wow, that's such a big comment! Thank you so much! ^^
I made the background a bit blurry so the character wouldn’t get lost in it and the main focus would stay on him. In the past I often made the mistake of putting too much attention on the background, and then the character would kinda lose the viewer’s focus. Maybe there are ways to balance it better, but I’m still figuring that out.
Yeah, I did use another drawing as a base, because I’ve only started drawing furry characters relatively recently. Cats and foxes are a bit easier for me, but dragons and other creatures are still pretty hard for me to imagine and draw properly :')
I tried to draw his head from a different angle, but it kept coming out wrong 🥲 I really didn’t want your character to end up looking bad.
I hope it’s not a problem that I used another drawing as a reference.
People often tell me that my drawings feel alive, so it really makes me happy that you noticed that too ^^
To be honest, he was very difficult to draw, and at some point I even thought it just wouldn’t turn out well at all haha xD
But I’m really happy that you liked the final result :3
And if you ever want to point out mistakes in my work, feel free to do so! It won’t upset me ^^ I know my drawings aren’t perfect, and I still have a lot to learn.
Thank you 🤗🩷🩷🩷

You're very welcome, the least I can do for you after you made that for me ♥
*nod nod* makes sense. Best of luck & inspiration figuring out how you like it best, what kind of balance/detail, how you think it'll work best ^^
Def understandable, and generally using references for learning is a great thing (I wish I knew that when I was starting to draw, trying to learn how to draw. Would've most likely made much more progress & quicker, and had less frustrations heh).
And if at first you tried to draw the head differently but it came out poorly in your opinion - not to your liking at least - it's all the more understandable that you went with this, I'm glad that you tried making it more "differently & by yourself" first, it matters a lot. I hope it made for good practice♥.
Sorry that it proven so difficult... While it's good to meet with a challenge sometimes or/and to challenge ourselves, step out of our comfort zone, and to sometimes have something on the harder side... if something proves just too difficult/too much for us at that time, it can be rather stressing (sometimes even overwhelming) and discouraging instead of satisfying. I really hope it wasn't the case for you. Don't give up Vilvett.
Once moar - thank you, & I do like it, quite a bit ♥
Oh btw, if you have any work-in-progress versions, like for an example your other tries of the head or anything else, you could share them with me somewhere and I could give you my input on those if you'd like, but of course no pressure(& no problem if you don't have them).
Either way, thank you, you're welcome, and thank-jutsu again ^^
