It's time to address something important, something I've eluded to before. All the historical lore https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59114161/ and how Dorbleys interact in society as I've written and drawn, https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....1/Dorbley-Lore are like... Dorbley Prime. The Algan is an inter dimensional being that initially created beings to terraform planets so it could enter that plane of existence. To summarize, The Algan got trapped and could only give life and observe, so it gave autonomy to these creatures, who eventually became Dorbleys. They did horrible, evil things with their powers and the Algan threatened to cut their life force off. A great hero was able to directly communicate with the Algan and an arrangement was established. All Dorbley culture, laws, taboos, limitations and their default form was cemented in this other worldly deal.

However... The Algan had also created similar beings on other planets in other dimensions in other times, but it was only the Dorbley Prime that didn't get severed and suffocated by the Algan. So a handful of worlds received guidance, be like these "Dorbleys" or face immediate destruction. So now Dorbleys, physically and culturally exist in other universes. However... even on Dorbley Prime they've had different eras and priorities and how they interacted with the native species on the planet. Despite a reboot identical to Dorbley prime, perhaps their place in their world has evolved differently? Better? or worse? Hopefully not too much worse, because the Algan still can always snuff their life out in an instant.

TLDR: Dorbleys can be in other stories, but they still have the same appearance, powers, limitations, connection to the Algan and "general" culture, but with your own flair thrown into it.
