Thanks for the link. I knew most about the intelligence of the Deathclaw but it's hard to look passed that insta-death hug sometimes.

I wouldn't doubt the high maternal instinct of a Deathclaw Mother. I was more banking on the primal side of these amazing mutant bastards rather than their intellect. But once again, underestimating these things lead to consequences (more bad than good but meh).


I did however, consider that it would have to be a lone Deathclaw, others would probably aggro on Wastrel first before she even got a chance to interact with the Mother.
