Crestona is a....very unique specimen. Being the result of forbidden love between her mother, a fluffy Parasaur, and her father, a Dilophosaurus. Her parents were truly in love with one another, but each of their fellow species laughed at the idea of loving the other, so they had to keep their relationships secret.
Therefore, they had to keep her secret too. Cresty, as she eventually started to like being called, was a sweetheart hatchling. Her parents loved her, and she loved them more than anything.
But things came to a head. After just shy of 10 years keeping her a secret, one of her mother's herdmates stumbled upon Crestona while she was wandering out and about. At first, the herdmate had no idea how to react to Cresty's unique features and appearance, but their brain started ticking. They remembered their herdmate, Cresty's mother, mentioning the idea of loving a Dilophosaurus, and then it clicked.
They saw her as an abomination from forbidden love and alerted the herd. Through that, the father's pack also got wind of the forbidden child. Both groups confronted the parents in their nest, at the same time even. The parents admitted their true love for one another.
After some tense talk, they did manage to defuse things with their respective friends, but it came with an ultimatum. Crestona was not allowed to join either group, due to her hybrid nature, and both were unsure about her presence in either case. So she was forced to leave home.
It was a tear-jerking moment, as Cresty said goodbye to her parents and left their home. Now, 7 years later, she's grown quite accustomed to the wild but does often still think of and miss her parents. But she knows they always loved her and always would.
So this is a pretty unique girl here. Had the idea rattling in my head for just a few weeks to months prior, and I searched all across the internet to not only see if it had been done before, like in JWA as an example, but to also see that, if it had been created before, what it looks like and if she'd look good as one version or if I'd alter her to be more pleasing to the eye.
Turns out, a Parasaur-Dilopho hybrid has never been done before. I was shocked as I spent days searching as the Internet is a big place, of course. But yielded no Para-Dilo hybrids, so I had her custom made.
I had no real ideas how her features would look, other than her base body and the frills, so I gave Angel my idea and she added various features to see what I liked the most. This also included her color palette. I had no idea what her colors or patterns would be, so I gave her two palettes I'd used a random generator on and saw which one I liked more and picked.
And now, here she is, finished and able to be enjoyed by all my friends and watchers. ^^
