Been picking away at this in very tiny chunks between paid work and irl work and it's finally done...
I'm trying to reconnect with parts of myself I dropped over the years, either to avoid stepping on toes or because things associated with certain times of my life held too many bad memories. Part of that was deciding that I needed a sona that's actually a fish. Albeit there's some cat mixed in, but...!

This is Mack Tabby, they're a cheshire catfish because I really love cheshire cats and my favourite animal up until middleschool was FISH!! Just any fish!!
I'm enchanted by the markings and colours of pacific mackerel, so turning it into a mackerel tabby pun sounded fun too.

I've been trying to give my sonas "lore" again, and Mack's deal is that they're a whimsical trickster that can phase in and out of the dream realm. They also love to collect articulated fish charms, especially the ones with the enamel colouring on the scales!
