Personally, I don’t think Kelly is going to take Tristan away from his mommies.
She’s just doing her job and trying to look after his well-being. I don’t think she will be cruel about it and take him away from a family who loves him.
And I think when she finds out that Tristan wants to be adopted by them, she’ll support it full on. I think her main concern was Tristan‘s well-being after all.
Frankly, the way things are going with the world Tristan agreeing to be adopted by them might be a shield, for if and when the law changes more.
