The canon ending to This comic
Wow! The roles reversed and Nagi was the one who saved Somni at last!! It seems like all the nerd knowledge and yapping DOES pay off sometimes!! Meanwhile Somni is still asleep, didn't even know what happened xD
My apologies it took so long!!! As you saw I was busy with special event drawings (April Fools, Easter) x3

Good to see them get out ok in the end. Totally didn't expect them to still end up in the stomach. Totally expected it to be much more hostile based on the bad ending. But I guess the sleep powder is strong enough to keep prey asleep until they're too digested to escape.
Also awesome to see Nagi use their smarts to get out and a little bit of magic.

Yes, typically, how it eats the prey is putting them to sleep, swallowing them, and then while still asleep the prey passes out from lack of oxygen in its stomach, and get sloowly digested. But in the end it is just a plant, it has no sentience! Works just on reading changes in chemical reactions.
I think that's part of the appeal of plant vore, or any vore with a non-sapient predator. Like there's no thinking to it. Just reflexes and instincts. The prey isn't eaten because there's any malice or pleasure on the predator's part, just bodies doing what they're meant to do and it could never be any more complex.
It is nice of Nagi to wish the plant luck on finding some real food. They seem to understand there's no malice. It's interesting.
