So, Marijke is the last member admitted to the band - which had already enjoyed worldwide success. Her first time on stage before a live and massive audience, who'd be judging whether or not her addition to the band was good or bad, was not easy for her.

Taiyo, who was her BF at the time, had tried to reassure her, but she was still ready to back out.

And this is Blade taking it upon himself to get in her face and straighten her out. (At this point, theyre stil just friends and Marijke's still finding him quite intimdating, whilst he's "adopted her" and, thus, not going to let her back out - and knows just how to work her.)

As said, at this point, they're just friends - no idea they're going to want to be together someday and no clue they will. But Blade is a very intense character, when he comes to trust you enough to be himself.



Notes: That all comes down to: I drew it, and then had to somehow explain it. But, in a way, I think he's being just a little to forward for the timeline.... I dunno.

I've been struggling with how to handle her hair, and I think this is how I'm going to do it from now on - tucked behind her cheek like Blade's often is.
