Amazing work

Ahh wow, it's beautiful! I'm always scared to go in with such high contrast, even when things are very close to the viewer.

I also hesitated to give high contrast a chance (i haven't painted anything for a while). I think it's a matter of practice. The sketch was rather pale. After warming up, putting more contrast on it came naturally.

Do you still find that you have to edit the curves when you've finished? When I do try to use high contrast, I still end up doing that!

I do (usually) try editing the curves at the end, but i always find that if i modify it, it looks worse. Same when i try modifying the colors in the end. I guess i modify them good enough during work.

That's where my problem is, I edit a piece using curves, then when I put it back to normal to see the difference, it just looks so dull! I wish I could just get it right during painting x3

http://www.kiskepzo.hu/index_en.html There. =P But i learned more from DeviantArt and FurAffinity and the internet as a whole, than in school. Not that there aren't things that one can only learn in such a school. Drawing a model IRL and attending graphic design lessons were very helpful for example.

So amazing, I envy your skills xD The only piece of critique/advice/thoughts I had were that the shadow on the dragon's wing on the right side of the picture which is the shadow of the wing of the other beastie's wing right above it seem a bit harsh/out of place, perhaps? I love your detailing the characters and your amazing abilities with digital paintings...

Hard to tell. I started it around May, left it in sketch stage for like 4 months and then finished it in ~7 days by working on it 1-4 hours a day on it.

I guess I never saw this uploaded, I'm still in absolute awe at this, been using it as desktop/phone backgrounds and definitely think about getting this printed out poster sized, so worth every second waited and every penny spent!
