Great job with this one! I think the part you really manage to do right this time is how the mane grows. The hairstyle on the pre-TF character is already part of the way there, and you do a great job making it progressively bigger and more pronounced with every passing stage. The face in general is well-illustrated throughout: love the gradual push out of the muzzle, the subtle coloration in the eyes, and the glasses being pushed up is always nice to see. Also, the general heft of this form is great to see, love how you portray how big and stocky a lion's frame is, especially in the paws (especially how they uniquely seem to split the shoes apart). And that final frame is just spectacular, really captured a certain pride in how upright the lion stands and how he roars upward! One last thing, I really like this background color blend in particular - really Animorphs-esque with this one. Keep on impressing with this morphing stuff!
I'm trying to stay optimistic without expecting too much haha.
And the first shoe rip I did was actually my kangaroo piece! Shoes are one I don't mind too much, though my biggest struggle is to make them actually rip like I think a shoe would, and not just tear like tissue paper.
