Artisan was Visiting Animal Crossing New Horizons with the other ragtags. Most of the island villagers told him to stay away from the scam artist at the edge of the island, however as an artist himself he was too curious.
Artian entered the boat and was introduced by Redd who was showing off some artwork (Don't know how he picked up that blaziken portrait). Artisan saw at the corner of his eye and saw that the statue was a fake. Artisan is a passionate artist so he tends to overeact when he sees fake or imitation art.

Artisan angry readied a magic spell to cast on the scheming fox who kept trying to tell him it's a real statue and not a fake, though he can't fool an artist such as him while the fox begins to worry.

Artisan is usualy always laid back and easygoing, but when he sees fake or counterfeit art than that fades away and he can show some rage against scammers, especiallly since he loves all forms of art.
