Trasfondo
Para muchos, niños convertirse en héroe es un sueño. Mas para aquellos pertenecientes a las familias heroicas. Los más jóvenes piensan todo el tiempo cuando era su turno de heredar aquel legado
Para no para Nora.Nació en el seno de una familia de héroes, donde salvar vidas, portar un traje y enfrentar peligros era parte de la tradición. Sin embargo, ella tenía dudas. Durante años, vivió con una esperanza silenciosa Que su poder nunca despertara.
La familia Johnson posee lo que se conoce como metagen horizontal. Esto significaba que el poder no se heredaba de forma directa ni predecible. Puede aparecer en cualquier miembro, en cualquier momento y manifestarse de formas completamente distintas.
Nora quería una vida normal. Sin expectativas o presión. Pero esa esperanza no duró para siempre.
Una noche, durante una cena familiar. Sintió algo, sus emociones se desbordaron y repentinamente ... Platos, cubiertos, vasos todo salió despedido por los aires en un instante, empujados por una fuerza invisible.
Hubo un silencio y luego una celebración. Su familia reaccionó con alegría, orgullo, entusiasmo. Otro héroe había nacido. Pero para ella fue todo lo contrario. En ese momento, sintió que su mundo se ponía de cabeza.
Ingresó a la academia más por obligación que por convicción. Entrenó, aprendió, mejoró… pero nunca logró acallar esa voz interna que le decía que ese no era su lugar.
Mientras otros encontraban propósito, ella encontraba dudas. Mientras otros avanzaban con seguridad, ella lo hacía con incertidumbre.
Aun así, completó su formación. Y ahora, como parte de una nueva generación de heroes, ha sido oficialmente habilitada como heroína bajo el nombre de Kinetic.
Pero la pregunta sigue ahí. ¿Realmente pertenece a ese mundo? ¿Puede alguien que nunca quiso ser héroe estar a la altura de lo que significa ser uno?
Al final ella tiene el poder para cambiarlo todo. Si logra creer en sí misma.

Background
For many children, becoming a hero is a dream. Even more so for those belonging to heroic families. Younger people constantly wonder when it will be their turn to inherit that legacy. But not Nora. She was born into a family of heroes, where saving lives, wearing a costume, and facing danger were part of the tradition. However, she had doubts. For years, she lived with a silent hope that her power would never awaken.
The Johnson family possesses what is known as horizontal metagen. This meant that the power wasn't inherited directly or predictably. It could appear in any member, at any time, and manifest in completely different ways.
Nora wanted a normal life. Without expectations or pressure. But that hope didn't last forever.
One night, during a family dinner, she felt something. Her emotions overflowed, and suddenly... plates, silverware, glasses—everything was sent flying in an instant, propelled by an invisible force.
There was silence, and then celebration. Her family reacted with joy, pride, and enthusiasm. Another hero had been born. But for her, it was the complete opposite. In that moment, she felt her world turn upside down.

She entered the academy more out of obligation than conviction. She trained, she learned, she improved… but she never managed to silence that inner voice that told her this wasn't her place.

While others found purpose, she found doubt. While others moved forward with confidence, she did so with uncertainty.
Even so, she completed her training. And now, as part of a new generation of heroes, she has been officially commissioned as a hero under the name Kinetic.

But the question remains. Does she truly belong in this world? Can someone who never wanted to be a hero live up to what it means to be one?
In the end, she has the power to change everything. If only she could believe in herself.
