Cursed Item #2: Species Scarves
An equipable item that spawns from Scarf Traps. The initial effect of putting one on will turn you into the Pokémon of the scarf. Prolonged wear will slowly cause your mind to be rewritten with the mind of the scarf Pokémon. Removing the scarf will hault the rewritting, but wont reverse the effect.
To reverse the effect the item must be cleansed. Your mind and body will return to normal upon cleansing. The scarf will cleanse when equipped.
Important Note!
I am aware of an issue with the item, where occasionally the rewritten personality will resurface after a full rewrite, temporarily take back over for an undetermined amount of time, and then revert to the proper personality. I am working on fixing this unfortunate side affect. I do ask that anyone affected by this curse to keep a log of whenever this happens to determine what may be causing this.
