I'm trying to remember what a sketch is so I can do more lore stuff °^°
The context:
The first encounter with the Ninth was unusual, unforgettable.
Sai remembers the first time she stepped over the threshold of the leviathan's brain center. A small, circular chamber, woven from a multitude of branching structures, stretching toward the center and forming a bisected column. In the center of the gap, a sphere hovered in the air. A large pearl, beautiful, emitting living light. The branching structures at the edge of the column leaned toward her, as if inviting, expectant, reaching out to her hands without touching them. Mesmerized, her hands smoothly reached forward, and her fingertips gently touched the sphere. Her palms gently embraced this precious pearl, and Sai carefully pulled it toward her. There was no resistance; the sphere yielded easily, leaving its resting place, responding to every movement with living, pulsating light.
Everything around her froze in that moment; only the ship's breath could be felt, matching that of its newfound captain...
