Okay, this one is a little more involved than the last animation I did. I still need to flesh out the last half a bit more, and... I dunno, animate him standing up again and getting ready to fire again, just so it loops nicely. Oh, and maybe give him some feet.

Anyway, more space man! Turns out, there's a reason for the fin on his gun. Not only is it stylish, and provides a sort of eyesight, it's also a stabilizer / dampener. It helps moderate the size and rate of fire of the beam, and almost completely negates recoil. What's that you say? Energy weapons shouldn't HAVE recoil? Listen, pal, this is SCIENCE. There is a LOT of blowback from these suckers if you don't have the fins! Trust me. I know my personally made-up super-science.
