Fun fact: At first, I didn't even read the title of your artwork. I looked at it and thought: Man, this has so much isolation from the rest of the world in it. This feeling of an undiscovered, undisturbed tribe, you only find at the very end of the world. THEN, I looked at the title, and I'm really happy that this was exactly your goal.
Once again, I am surprised how well scalies are suited for a tribal vibe. I noticed this a while ago with a different artist and was so amazed, I had to write a big comment. These patterns you used and the mix of green and red colors are simply incredible. And I know I repeat myself, but I really like how you actually show the tiny scales/pigments on the skin.
A couple of years ago, I wrote a Pokémon Fanfiction in the Mystery Dungeon universe, but in a Western setting with all the characteristic stuff in it: Violence, alcohol consumption, racism and sexism and more. I used four-legged creatures as a symbol of oppression. And for indigenous people I used feathered creatures. Looking back at this, I'm still convinced that furred animals don't have the same aura when it comes to wild, free and maybe even savage natives in comparison to others like scalies or feathered creatures for example (don't know about insects. Could work). Your artwork gave me another proof and further motivation to use a scalie for a tribal purpose in the future.
