Oh boy.. This is gonna be a fun one to ink, but happy with it so far.
Petrah is a plant based demigod of Cray. As Cray is a desert planet, large bodies of water above ground are rare. The Twisted Marsh's are avoided by the Crayvians, who are unable to tolerate the incredible heat and humidity, and terrified of the creatures that live there.
This is also the birthplace of the Panflur, hatched from massive buds that sprout from the base of the trees.
