So Edward has a Base Human Form, A Partial Lion Form, and a Beast Form. A nice sliding scale between being human and lion.

Now, what happens when Edward goes all the way to the end of the scale? Of course, He goes full feral lion. Fierce, Ferocious, Fluffy(?), and possibly Berserk.


Being a feral lion for the first time doesn't give Edward any time to think... because he doesn't even have the ability to think. No human thoughts, just pure instincts.

When Kiyoshi attempted to curse Edward into a werelion for the first time, he accidentally put too much power into his spell, leading to Edward's initial transformation into a feral lion. Edward was so riled up as a lion that he started lashing out at everything in his path before attempting to escape the figurative cell that was once his human home. Not taking any chances, Kiyoshi grab a baseball bat and immediately goes to knock out Edward before he escapes and accidentally mauls some unexpecting bystander. Thankfully, our kitsune friend succeeded without any further problems, but the energy he put into that spell drained him pretty bad that after all was said and done, he passed out along with Edward. He was practically running on fumes and adrenaline at that point. Both Edward (now human again) and Kiyoshi woke up the following day seeing the house looking like a complete disaster. Not able to remember last night, Edward appropriately freaked out that he was the one who caused all the damages while Kiyoshi goes back to his spellbook to figure out what he did wrong and prevent something like last night from happening again.

It was a night of firsts for both of them: Kiyoshi casting a powerful curse, and Edward becoming an animal.
