All it has to do is to inject some endorphins and people will have these hooked into them all day long.
It does not even have to inject endorphins all the time, just at random intervals and people will be hooked.
Could have one in a backpack with a hole in the front for those that don't want to show their bear.
If you could have one power a tablet like an Ipad then people will line up around the block.
Customer: Um, yeah it hurts but the games are way cool and fast and the 5G is so fast. Ouch.
Keep away from small children and genitalia.

You are right there is no difference.
Even addictions to other things like video games are like that too, time spent on the game could have been used to do more important things. Not talking about regular game play but obsessive game play when you are using adult diapers and have several days of snacks/water near the computer.
