Character: Quimendez
This is a new character I've created: Quimendez. Illustrated by my friend AngusDra (you can search for him on FA—please give him a follow!).
Quimendez is a griffin (though in my writing, this race isn't called "griffin"—I can’t directly translate its Chinese racial name, which is "Kaluoya Dragon-eagle" (卡洛尔亚龙鹫).
According to ancient texts from the previous civilization: This species was artificially created with the purpose of utilizing their superior small-scale collective intelligence and physical prowess to act as pioneers for civilization, venturing into the cosmos to search for more habitable planets.
However, due to the Great Collapse, these creatures eventually escaped and integrated into the natural world.
Their adult size is much smaller than that of adult dragons—even the largest griffins only reach the size of a small dragon.
Intelligence: Their overall intelligence is not as high as that of dragons, though this may be due to prolonged lack of development. Some griffins who have integrated into dragon society, after education and cultivation, have shown intelligence on par with dragons.
Abilities: Griffins cannot use magic like dragons do. Instead, they possess collective intelligence, which allows them to react much faster and more agilely in division of labor and execution within their groups. Most notably, they have enhanced regenerative abilities—wounds heal and recover much quicker than in ordinary dragons.
Quimendez is an extreme product of this collective intelligence. Under normal circumstances, his ability manifests as making those nearby unconditionally feel goodwill or even romantic affection toward him. When he actively uses his power, he can control other griffins to serve his purposes.
