Oh, and the ball of fluff Zerel is holding in the first panel is a Fraph. Think of it like... a furry, foot-long bacteria that reproduces asexually, but very slowly. They're a staple prey item in Sunwere of many larger predators as well as the tribes, but they're also raised by the youngsters as pets, a little like kids might raise chickens or rabbits.
