i didn't get my ears pierced for 24 years, and i started at a 14 gauge, then recently i had been able to get tapir's for them and start gauging up.
Here's how it's gone so far:
12g - didn't feel much
10g - barely hurt
8g - holy shit! D8
6g - i'll be doing that tomorrow
yeah, im a newblett at this, and i don't plan on gauging my ears to the point i can stick coke cans in them, but i do wanna get into the halves on sizes.
Also....winnie the pooh gauges would be very relevant to this.

We used too, But we had this christian lady come in and complained about them, Said that and i quote "Her Christian God thinks of those things as instruments of whores! and that we should not sell them." well stretch with only titanium(cant spell that wword lol) or glass when stretching your ears, acrilc tapers tend to pinch then skin more and cause your ears to hurt/bleed. Im not expert but thats the advice i got from a prossional. (i get my ears stretched prossionally by a piercer sometimes)
