"Say hello to the Shock Buns: Genetic & nanotech hybrids that Judy Hopps can pop out from herself that are hybrids of bunnies, xenomorphs, and protogens. They come in gray, cream and brown colors with varying sizes and shapes, with roles affecting their appearance.
Shock Buns are Judy's helpers who assist, aid and reinforce the changed rabbit in her duties. From simple field work to more intense combat scenarios, they have their roles to play. Not only that, but Judy's desire and want to help & comfort others has passed onto them physically and mentally, giving them cuter appearances and the mindset of the officer rabbit.
Melee Shock Buns are on the stronger, lankier side of things to be quick and get up close and personal, while Ranged Shock Buns are smaller and shortstacked with plasma-based bio-rifles and pistols. Yes, this does mean that they would be somewhat thicc.
They only last for around an hour after popping out, but a few that Judy selectively chose have their timers killed off, remaining indefinitely. Along with this, if a chosen is downed, they melt away and are cloned back from Judy's body with their memories intact.
Not only have these Shock Buns become an important tool in Judy's life, but also a source of companionship and care that she needed for a long time."
